A Dinner Date at the Ming with Mommy and Kailey!!!
Last night, Reiss had dinner with Mommy and Kailey at Ming Dynasty. Reiss kept Kailey busy going back and forth to the buffet many, many times!!! He liked the white rice, dumplings, and red jello best. He even had his noodles made on the Mongolian Barbeque grill. For dessert, he and Kailey both had ice cream. Reiss liked to dip his fortune cookies in the ice cream. Thanks, Kailey, for a fun dinner!!!
Kickin' It Old School
Yesterday, we went to Yestercades in Red Bank.
We played tons of "old school" video games. Our favorite arcade games were
Donkey Kong and Mario Bros.
Mommy's favorite was The Cyclone pinball machine. Reiss played pinball with her.
Daddy set the high score for Knock-Out and played Track-N-Field.
Davis even played Mario Bros on Atari. They had every imaginable game system.
But our favorite parts were playing Minecraft on the XBox and
MarioKart Double Dash on the Nintendo Game Cube!

Our Endless Summer
One summer tradition for our family is eating at Woodies and playing miniature golf at Flamingo Golf. Because of the 90 degree heat, Reiss opted for a few games at the arcade at Our Endless Summer instead. We had a great time and won a few small prizes including a Cherry Airhead which fueled Reiss for the rest of the evening!!!

Another Day at the Beach with Z & C...with Surprise Guests Brody and Brinley!!!
The Big J's Big Bash!!! (AKA Grandma's 70th Birthday Party!)
On Saturday, we went to Grandma's 70th birthday party at The Mill in Spring Lake. We had a great time. Reiss's favorite parts of the party were: the turtles in the pond, the HUGE kingfisher we saw in the mill waterfall, seeing his cousins, and when Grandma cried "about nothing, but they were happy tears." Grandma loved her "top secret" photo of all of the Stefanski Grandkids!!! (And Reiss worked really hard not to spill the beans...) Happy Birthday, Grandma!!!

Davis and Reiss Pick Their Own at Beachview Farms
This morning, Davis and Reiss went to Beachview Farms where they met the roosters, picked vegetables, and watched Mommy pick Sunflowers (there were too many bees for the boys). We really enjoyed the experience. We highly recommend that you take a trip. According to the staff, blackberries will be ready for picking next week. We are going to go back and pick some for Katie to make into jam!!! (Not that she knew that until now...)

When we came home, Mommy made a recipe of Nanny's which is called Jambot. The recipe usually called for peeled vegetables and potatoes...but it was delicious anyway. The summer squash and zucchini were really tasty...too bad only Mommy will eat it!!!
Because the recipe calls for celery, we used two celery hearts to paint a picture for Grammy. The celery hearts look a lot like flowers. We dipped romaine lettuce leaves from our garden into green paint to make the leaves.
